This privacy policy explains what Kadıköy Homes (“we”) does with the personal data you share through kadikoyhomes.com, WhatsApp or email. We process it in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Where it applies to you, we also follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

Privacy policy: what we collect

The details you type into an enquiry form: your name, WhatsApp number or email address, what you are looking for and your message.
The listing or agent you contacted us about.
Messages you send us on WhatsApp, Instagram or by email.
Basic technical data your browser sends to any website, such as your IP address and browser type. We keep these in server logs for security.

Why we use it

We use your details to answer your enquiry, arrange viewings and send you listings you asked for. If you go ahead, we also use them to prepare the paperwork for a purchase or rental. The legal basis is your request and the steps needed before entering into a contract with you.

We do not sell your data. In addition, we do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them.

Who sees it

Our team sees your enquiry. When needed to complete a transaction you have asked for, we share it with the seller or landlord, a lawyer, a licensed appraiser or a sworn translator. Our website host and email provider also store data on our behalf under contract.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact with you. However, a transaction may require longer retention under Turkish law. You can also ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.

Your rights under this privacy policy

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you can ask whether we hold data about you and get a copy. You can also have it corrected or deleted, and object to how it is processed. To do so, write to us using the details on the contact page, and we will reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can then complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
